About the author
Hi, my name is Jens Peterson, and I’m the 19 year-old author of What We Leave: A Caretaker’s Guide to an Ill Planet.
I was born and raised in Jericho, Vermont. I graduated as the top English student in my high school class (Mt. Mansfield Union High school) and am currently studying at Clark university. I developed an early passion for the natural world from a childhood of hiking, skiing, and watching the wildlife in the stream that runs by my house. This childhood passion developed into writing What We Leave as an effort to combat climate change.
